המאבק העממי בלוד לוקח צעד נוסף קדימה - לעיריה
ביום שלישי הקרוב נקבל יחד את פניו של ראש הועדה הקרואה החדש של לוד, מאיר ניצן.
נעמוד יחד, יהודים וערבים, ונבהיר לו שהעתיד של העיר טמון בשיתוף פעולה יהודי-ערבי
לטובת כלל תושבי העיר ולא בדיכוי הפרדה והפחדה.

חברון (אל ח'ליל) היא הסמל המובהק ביותר להשפעות ההרסניות של הכיבוש הישראלי. מראשית ההתנחלות בעיר נכנעה הממשלה הישראלית לכל תכתיבי המתנחלים, והצבא נדרש להיענות לכל גחמותיהם. בפברואר 1994 ביצע ברוך גולדשטיין טבח במסגד האיברהימי (מערת המכפלה) בעיר, בו נרצחו 29 מתפללים פלסטינים ולמעלה ממאה נפצעו. תגובתה של ממשלת רבין הייתה סגירה לתנועה פלסטינית של רחוב השוהדא, רחובה הראשי של חברון. הרחוב נותר סגור עד עצם היום הזה. עם פרוץ אינתיפאדת אל אקצה החריפה ישראל עוד יותר את הגבלות התנועה בעיר. ההגבלות פגעו באופן קשה במיוחד בתושבי H2, החלק של חברון המצוי בשליטה ישראלית מלאה, בו נמצאים גם מוקדי ההתנחלות. תושבי H2 הפלסטינים סבלו במהלך העשור האחרון מאות ימי עוצר. כ-1800 חנויות בקסבה נסגרו. רחובות רבים סגורים לתנועת פלסטינים, ותושביהם נאלצים להיכנס ולצאת מבתיהם דרך הגגות. הגבלות התנועה ואלימות המתנחלים גרמו לכך שכל מי שיכול היה לצאת מ-H2 יצא משם.
כך הפכה ישראל חלק שלם ממרכז חברון לעיר רפאים.
את המדיניות הזו שואפת ישראל ליישם גם בירושלים. מאות אם לא אלפי מתנחלים אלימים גרים בסילוואן, שייח' ג'ראח ובמוקדים אחרים באגן הקדוש ונהנים מאבטחה על חשבון המדינה. המשטרה נמנעת מכל פעולה נגדם.
בכל יום שישי מוקמים ברחבי סילוואן מחסומים המאפשרים תנועה חופשית של ישראלים, אך משתקים את התנועה הפלסטינית, ומונעים מתושבי הכפר להגיע אל בתיהם ברכב.
לקראת אירועי יום השנה לטבח במערת המכפלה (25 בפברואר) נצא לסיור להכרת המציאות בחברון.
הסיור יועבר על ידי חברי ארגון 'שוברים שתיקה' אשר מכירים מקרוב את המצב בעיר.

Hebron (Al-Khalil) is the most outstanding symbol of the destructive effects of the Israeli occupation. The Israeli government submitted to all the settlers’ demand as of the initiation of the settlement in Hebron, and the military is attentive to the settlers’ every whim. In February 1994 Baruch Goldstein carried out a massacre in the Ibrahimi Mosque (The Patriarchs’ Tomb), killing 29 Palestinian worshippers and injuring over a hundred. The Rabin government responded by closing Hebron’s main street, the Shuhada Street, to Palestinians. It remains closed to this very day. With the outbreak of the Al-Aqsa Intifada, Israel further aggravated the movement restrictions in the city. The restrictions are especially severe in the H2 area, the part of Hebron under full Israeli control, where the settlements are located. Its residents suffered hundreds of days of curfew in the past decade. Around 1800 shops in the Kasba (Old City) were closed by the military. Many streets were closed to Palestinian movement, and their residents are forced to get in and out of their homes through the roofs. The movement restrictions and the settlers’ violence caused everyone who could move out of H2 to move out of there.
Israel turned an entire section of downtown Hebron into a ghost town.
Israel seeks to implement the same policy in Jerusalem:Hundreds, maybe even thousands, of violent settlers live in Silwan, Sheikh Jarrah and ever areas of the Holy Basin. They are provided with guards on the state’s expense. The police refrains form any action against them.Every Friday, roadblocks are erected in Silwan. They allow free movement for Israelis, while shutting down Palestinian traffic and preventing the village residents to reach their own homes by cars.
In light of the coming anniversary of the Ibrahimi Mosque Massacre (February 25), we will attend a tour in order to get acquainted with the reality in Hebron.
The tour will be guided by members of Breaking The Silence, who are closely acquainted with the situation in the city.

נחמד לפחות לראות לפחות שהשחצנים האלה מפחדים מההפגנה הזאת כל כך ולא מאשרים את הדבר הכי נורמלי ולגיטימי במדינה חופשית
מה הקשר לשר נאמן? מי שהוציא את הצו זה המשטרה לא? שר המשטרה זה אהרונוביץ? אז מה הקשר לנאמן שד"א משתתף קבוע בשיעור של ר' אושר וייס – ביום שלישי בבית וגן.
